Why not drop in and see what we are all about?

We promise:

  • To welcome you and make you feel at ease.
  • Not to pressure you, or make you feel uncomfortable
  • Children are welcome, we smile when they make a noise, we were little once.

Who we are:

We are a lively and welcoming congregation from a variety of Christian backgrounds, sharing a common love of Jesus - our Lord and Saviour. The Methodist model of worship is for the service to be led by a different person each week. This means we enjoy a diversity of styles, from informal to slightly more formal, from traditional hymns to new songs. Regardless of format our services are always engaging. The service starts at 11:00 but the Church is open from 10:30 when we meet informally for refreshments.

We believe that God is as relevant today as ever and we seek to express our love and commitment to God through our love and care for one another and a strong community focus. As well as local community activities we contribute to The Porch and The Community Foodbank. Our premises a regularly used by community groups: Guides, Rangers, NHS Clinic, artsHUB and the community choir.

Individual members also volunteer for a wide range of local organisations.

Special needs:

All our rooms are equipped with hearing loop, there is step free access route, we also have an accessible toilet. We continue to work on making our building as accessible as possible to those with mobility needs.
